Now comes the editing stage.

At CA Proofing, I will work with you through this process. We will look at the following:

• Sense
• Clarity
• Flow of the story for the reader
• Consistency of the information and details used
• Style and Tone
• Includes Proofreading stage

Process:

• First edit: This is charged at a rate of per word. This covers multiple read throughs. If the manuscript is under 10,000 words then it is charged at the hourly rate.
• Second and Third edits: These are charged at an hourly rate. Multiple read throughs are  

Rates:

• First Edit: $150 – $200 per 10,000 words (this will depend on how substantial the editing job is. A preliminary read through will give a clear indication of this.)
• Second and Third Edits: $35 per hour
